This picture is not technically great, nor has great composition, balance or even lovely colours but it never fails to make me smile :)…I am at times a bitter, cynical, tired, empty and insensitive old man, but when I saw this couple I remembered why we are here and what it is to be alive, their happiness was real, they glowed you could almost taste it, feel it on your skin, people stopped as they walked past to watch them take a picture of themselves, trying again and again to get it right giggling and laughing, young couples watched sharing the energy, old people remembering the power of youths first love, people turned to each other grinning, moving a little closer to each other, nodding and holding each others hands a little tighter just for short second, looking down at their own children, fingers crossed praying that they one day would find and experience that joy even if only for a fleeting second or if really lucky a lifetime, and for me the sun was shining, my sons were with me, it was a good day :)……
Forgive me my indulgence I do not usually write long captions and maybe i am tired or too much coffee today :) but life can be hard at times, a real bitch that will, if you let it, it grind you down, chew you up and spit you out into the dust. I live, I make mistakes but I learn, I love and I keep going, so don’t let it win, give all of yourself into everything you do, if you fail try again, try it a different way, things happen, they can change, moment to moment, second to second…… wow not sure where that all came from lol!! don’t worry, that’s it, I will now shut up, get down from my soapbox and go and take some more photos, hope you all have a great day ha ha!!! :)
